Ranbir Kapoor has put the Dhoom 4 casting rumours to bed, once and for all. The actor denied being part of the spy thriller franchise at San Diego Comic-Con, shutting down years of industry chatter linking him to the fourth instalment. As per reports making the rounds, Ranbir clarified his current slate instead, keeping fans in the loop about what’s actually coming next.

The Dhoom franchise has been in limbo for a while, with no official announcement from production house Yash Raj Films about a fourth film. But that hasn’t stopped speculation about who might helm it whenever it materialises. Ranbir’s name has popped up repeatedly in connection with the project, though nothing concrete ever materialised.

Instead, the actor is locked in for two major releases: Ramayana and Love & War, scheduled to drop on January 20. Between these big-ticket projects and his recent success with Animal, Ranbir’s got his hands plenty full. Safe to say Dhoom 4 just isn’t on his radar right now.
