Looks like playing the bad guy pays off big time. Industry chatter suggests Sanjay Dutt and Bobby Deol are among the Bollywood actors who’ve absolutely crushed it taking on antagonist roles in South Indian films. Both stars have built seriously impressive resumes across Hindi cinema, but apparently they’re also making serious waves down South as the ones audiences love to hate.

Sanjay Dutt, known for iconic performances in hits like Khalnayak and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., has clearly expanded his playbook beyond Bollywood. Meanwhile, Bobby Deol, who’s been on a major career resurgence lately with projects like Animal and Aashram, has also dipped his toes into the South film space with some meaty villain gigs.

Reports doing the rounds suggest there’s a whole roster of Hindi film names making waves as baddies in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam productions. It’s the ultimate flex, honestly. Nothing says range quite like making millions of new fans by being absolutely terrifying on screen.

GaraMasalaFM’s sources are tracking every South crossover move happening right now.
